ボルト選手(Usain BOLT)が100m 9秒88。Racers Grand Prix 2016。スタート出遅れでも9秒8台。

先日行われた100mのレースでボルト選手が9秒88というタイムで優勝しました。

同じレースに100m 9秒69の自己ベストを持つ同じジャマイカのヨハン・ブレイク選手。そして元世界記録保持者で100m　自己ベスト9秒72を持つアサファ・パウエル選手がレースに参加。

ボルト選手はスタートは出遅れたものの、後半に強いボルト選手は凄まじいストライドで追いつき、一気にトップの座を勝ち取り優勝しました。

スタートをつまずいて、しかもゴール手前でかなり流し気味の走りをしていましたね。その走りを見る限り、リオデジャネイロオリンピックまで余力を残して本番に挑むんじゃないかという印象を受けました。つまり、リオデジャネイロまで全力疾走はしないのではないかと。

ボルト選手はシーズン前半は調子がたとえ悪くても、オリンピックなどの大きな舞台には必ずコンディションを最高潮に持っていく、本番に向けての調整力が素晴らしいものがあります。

なので今回のリオオリンピック。ぜひ世界記録の更新にも期待してしまいます。
