【男子棒高跳び決勝の結果速報】カナダのバーバー選手が金メダル！【世界陸上北京結果】

先ほど世界陸上の男子棒高跳決勝が終わりましたね。世界陸上北京の男子棒高跳で優勝したのはバーバー選手。驚きの結果でした。

優勝：バーバー（カナダ）　5m90cm

2位：ホルツデッぺ（ドイツ）　

5m90cm

3位：ヴォイチエコフスキー（ポーランド）　

5m80cm

3位：ラビレ二（フランス）　5m80cm

3位：リセク

（ポーランド）　5m80cm

という結果に。

優勝候補だったフランスのラビレ二選手は銅メダル。金メダルとはなりませんでした。個人的には非常に残念です。

世界陸上ベルリン（2009年）と世界陸上テグ（2011年）、世界陸上モスクワ（2013年）のどれも優勝候補と呼ばれ続けて金メダルが取れませんでした。

ラビレ二選手の強さは国際大会での安定した跳躍ですが、なぜか世界陸上になると跳躍が不安定になってしまうようですね。見ていてそう感じました。

予選から調子良さそうに決勝まで迎えるスタイルなのですが、決勝の高さ5m80cmを過ぎたあたりから調子が狂い始めます。

パターンとして一度バーを落としてしまったら、その後の調子が戻ることなく金メダルを逃してしまうのです。今回もそのパターンに当てはまったのではないかと思います。

若手のバーバー選手かっこよかった

そして、優勝したカナダのバーバー選手です。彼は若干21歳ながら今年に入り5m80cm以上の記録を連発している選手でした。調子が良かっただけに今回の世界陸上という初めての舞台でも調子を維持し、優勝までつなげたのはかなりの実力者でした。今後の活躍にも期待したいですね。
