【男子走り幅跳び決勝の結果速報】ラザフォードが金！ラピエールが銀！王嘉男が銅！【世界陸上北京結果】

世界陸上北京、男子走り幅跳びの暑いバトルが先ほどまで行われていましたね。速報結果ですが優勝したのはイギリスのラザフォード選手。2012年ロンドンオリンピック金メダリストの意地を見せるような見事な跳躍でした。

金メダル：G．ラザフォード（イギリス）
記録：8m41cm

銀メダル：Ｆ・ラピエール（オーストラリア）
記録：8m24cm

銅メダル：王嘉男（中国）
記録：8m18cm

まず、メダルを黒人以外の選手が独占するのは珍しいことです。２位のラピエール選手は元々はベスト記録8m78cm（2010年記録）を持っているかなりの実力者でした。

ラピエール選手の跳躍の特徴としては踏み切ってからの空高く舞うような跳躍です。速い助走スピードを生かしての高い弾道の跳躍が見事銀メダルへという結果につながっていったのでしょう。

【男子走幅跳、王嘉男の他に中国勢が大活躍】
今回王嘉男が銅メダル。それ以降の4位、5位と中国の選手が独占していました。黒人以外が決勝に名を連ねることがはまりない走り幅跳びにとっては、まさかアジア人が上位に食い込むということは珍しいことです。

最近は、走り幅跳びに限らず他の種目でも中国勢が力を伸ばしています。例えば棒高跳や100ｍといったアジア人が世界で戦うことは難しいとされているような種目で力をつけてきているようです。

今回、日本の菅井洋平選手は7m92cmの予選16位で決勝進出とはなりませんでした。しかし、焦ることなく自己ベストを着々と伸ばし今後の活躍を期待しています。
